Islamabad Travel Guide – Complete Guide

If you are living in Pakistan and you have not seen the blooming springs with roadsides lined with breathtaking flowers and with a breeze that refreshes your soul and rejuvenates your spirit, you need to re-organize your schedule once again. This is my friend Islamabad; the city that never disappoints its guests; a perfect host.

There’s a lot more than just springs; take a drive in autumns and you can see the roads adorned with red and brown torn off leaves, the trees in the afternoon mesmerize with their multi-colors and sun setting down in the background brings you the best masterpiece of nature.

Winters are no less surprising, the scent in the atmosphere when it rains the ‘Petrichor’, with vibrant life on roadside motels and upon the Margalla Hills ‘The Monal’ that not just serves superb food but also an aerial view of Islamabad from the top; amazes the viewers. The hot and spicy kebab’s, Chai Wala’s, Desi foods, Tikky (BBQ),  Halwa and Dood jalebi will make you crave for them as never before.

Summers in Islamabad will definitely push you to find a pool and lie down and calm yourself. The scorching heat might make life miserable in other parts of the country but Islamabad covered in trees; hardly will let you witness a week without rainfall.
